Cathy S. Plouzek is the founder and the mastermind behind the operations at Studio C Fitness. She makes sure everything runs smoothly while keeping the community at the heart of it all. Cathy knows your name, your story, and ensures that Studio C feels like home the moment you walk in.
As a RYT 200 certified yoga teacher, Cathy specializes in traditional Vinyasa, blending strength, breath, and intentional flow to help students connect deeply with their bodies. She also leads restorative yoga sessions designed to reset the nervous system and power yoga classes that turn up the heat with optional weights. Whether you’re grounding, flowing, or building strength—she’s got you covered.
Her long list of certifications includes Vinyasa Yoga, Deep, SculptXBands, Buti, Hot Buti, Primal Flow, Vibe & Flow, Strong Nation, Spinning, Pound Rockout Workout, Pound Unplugged, and Generation Pound. Basically, she can teach it all—but yoga is her home base.
Now fully retired from the corporate HR world (but still known to give solid life advice), Cathy is pouring her energy into growing a movement and yoga community that’s welcoming, empowering, and just the right amount of sass—in the best way possible.

J’r - James R. Haywood, Jr., is the energy, innovation, and creative spark behind Studio C. He curates class programming, hypes up every room, and makes sure you leave every workout feeling stronger than when you arrived. Whether it’s bringing fresh ideas, leading a high-energy class, or making sure you’re moving to the best beats, J’r is the pulse of Studio C’s electrifying atmosphere.
He stumbled into the world of group fitness back in 2012 when he crashed his mentor Lori Jamison's class—and boy, did he catch the fitness bug! Fast-forward to today, and He’s a certified Zumba aficionado, rocking everything from Zumba Kids to MixxedFit. But hey, that's not all—He’s also licensed in Buti Movement, Buti Deep and Xtreme Hip Hop Step, because why stick to just one groove?
Oh, and remember, there are only three rules in his class: (1) Safety first, (2) Let loose and have a blast, and (3) Leave the gum at home – we're here to work it, not chew it!
